Goodnight Moon divided basket

I was honored to make a few things for quilt market that took place this past weekend in Houston, Texas.  Cloud 9 Fabrics has always been a huge source of inspiration for me and their designs never disappoint.

This super sweet Goodnight Moon fabric floated my way and in no time at all really it was a Divided Basket.  Again, I used the Pellon Craftfuse 809 in combination with Pellon Fusible Fleece.  I feel like with using all quilting cottons, this combo really suits the fabrics well.

As soon as I showed a few people the basket, it was so fun to see how they recognized it as being one of their favorite children’s books. So, of course it makes such a great fabric for a baby room.  And do you remember when Dana made a set of jammies based on the book? Adorable!  Why not whip up a little outfit and tuck it inside for a baby gift along with the book, Goodnight Moon?!  I love gifts like that.

I’ve got a few more things to share from market so I’ll be blogging about those in the next few posts, hope you don’t mind.

ps.  Admitted chair hoarder here, isn’t that Heywood-Wakefield chair great?  We picked it up for a great not-too-shabby deal at our local antique market.  I love it so much.
